Me at secret beach (on the red road near Pohiki)
Hi Everyone!
I arrived in Hawaii safely and thought I'd start this BLOG to keep you up to date with some images and stories from my life here.
It's been very mellow so far. I'm staying at a mansion that my friend Robinette is house sitting. We're spending most of our time soaking up the luxerious accomodations that we'll be enjoying for the next couple of weeks. We make delicious smoothies in the morning and cook fancy dinners together in the evening. The days have been spent lounging by the pool, gardening, yoga, and a trip to the beach. In the evenings we've been having people over, a few evenings of Kirtan chanting, and a conga class for me.
What more could you ask for....a pool with an ocean view!
View from the bedroom.

Living Room

Roomates Bob and Phyllis are friends that I already knew from staying at Kalani in the spring. Bob is the builder that built Robinette and Darren's house and Phyllis is a long time Kalani volunteer who is a lot of fun to hang out with.
Bounty after our regular sunday morning trip to the market:
Monday night is Kirtan night at Kalani. Attendence has grown since I used to go in the spring, and the room is now wonderfully full with the voices of 30-40 people.
We are greeted with the most beautiful sun rises from our bedroom. Man this place really is paradise!
Lounging in the pool:
This is Ipo (sweetheart) who is one of the two most entertaining dogs you will ever meet.
The other one is Aka (Little Shadow) who is demonstrating her version of dowward dog.
Mom liked the picture of Ipo so much she decided to paint her. It came out so well that not only did the owner buy the painting, but it has sparked a new leg of mom's career....dog portraits! If you want one, contact her at www.lynnetuft.com
