Mainland Visit

Feb 17, 2007

Prompted by Granny turning 90, I decided to go to the mainland to catch up with everyone and take care of some unfinished business. It was great to see everyone and it really didn't feel like I live 2000 miles away.

As you can see here, Granny is doing great! Both her and my cousin Courtney's birthday is on Feb 5 so we had a little celebration.

It was great to see my cousins from Idaho and granny was thrilled to have all her grandchildren in one place.

Mom and Robin's cat Pogi was amazingly big with his winter coat.

Ryan continues his rapid transition to boyhood, leaving toddler long behind since I moved. None of us can believe he is less than 3 years old. This is where it does feel like I live 2000 miles away.

It was great to catch up with Laurel.

Jamie had her chinese new year gathering a week early so I could enjoy our relatives and wonderful food.

And of course we were able to fit a dinner club in while I was there. I didn't get any pictures of the grownups, but got a few of the kids. Here, Katherine is as cute as ever and get's more and more playful each time I see her.

...and Jaden just cracks Linh up!
